The place is also known as Dwarka of the south as the idol here symbolizes the magnificent form of Vishnu that was disclosed to Vasudeva and Devaki. Sri Padmanabhaswamy:

Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple is a renowned landmark in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, India. Situated inside the East Fort in Thiruvananthapuram, this massive temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Here the lord is in "Anantha Shayanam". Because of this the place is also known as "Ananthapuri". As per the latest news and sources, it is said that there is lot of Gold (worth Rs 90,000 crore), in the secret cellars of Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple.


ISKCON Temple (Bangalore):
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON), is one the foremost religious societies focusing on the spirituality and study of Hindu Gaudiya Vaishnava concepts. The arches and water jets are beautiful carved out and attractive paintings are festooned on each corner. The main hall of the temple measures around 10, 000 sq.feet and  paves the way to the three shrines, including the main one. The main attraction of the temple is its construction in neo-classical style of architecture. It is ISKCON's largest temple complex in the world. 

Shore Temple in Mahabalipuram:

The architectural brilliance of the shore temple makes it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautiful architectural rich temple was built by the Rajasimha during the reign of Narasimha Varman II in the 7th century. It is among the oldest temples in South India constructed in the Dravidian style. The main shrines of the temple are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu. There is a Shivalinga inside the sanctum sanctorum. It is a perfect mix of glorious history and beauty. It is not a living temple but it still retains its old world charm. Its awesome sculptures speak volumes about the height of human creativity. Proud of Tamil Nadu, it is the World Heritage Site.
